Shruti Haasan roped in for Chiranjeevi’s major project

“You bring Woman Power to #Mega154 (sic),” Megastar Chiranjeevi today tweeted, announcing the name of a key female actor who will be playing a gorgeous role in his 154th movie. Directed by director Bobby (aka KS Ravindra), the film will feature Shruti Haasan in an undisclosed role. 

On the occasion, Chiru shared a pic of himself with the ‘Krack’ actress. Mythri Movie Makers is producing this big-ticket film. When the film was announced on August 22 last year, a poster with the words ‘Poonakalu Loading’ on it was released. Co-produced by GK Mohan, the film is touted to have a powerful script. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad. 

Shruti, meanwhile, is on a roll. After Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s movie with director Gopichand Malineni, this is another big film that the ‘Race Gurram’ actress has bagged. In ‘Salaar’, which might be made in two parts, Shruti is playing Aadya, an “elegant” character. 

As for Chiru, his ‘Acharya’ will hit the screens on April 29. Directed by Koratala Siva, it co-stars Ram Charan as the other lead actor.
