Shruti Haasan’s bold answers to contentious questions by netizens go viral

Kamal Haasan’s daughter and leading actress Shruti Haasan is now busy juggling multiple projects in the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi industries. She recently played female leads in Pongal releases – Balakrishna’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and Chiranjeevi’s ‘Waltair Veeraiyya’.

Shruti is currently working on the Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’, directed by Prashant Neel of ‘KGF’ fame. Salaar is said to be a two-part film just like the KGF saga. Meanwhile, the actress is a highly active person on social media. She answered fans’ questions in an Instagram session a few days ago. She asked the fans to throw silly questions at her.

A user asked, “Are you a verjain?” and Shruti replied that the user should learn the proper spelling of ‘virgin’ first. Another netizen asked her to choose her alcohol, to which the actress replied, “I live a sober life. I have been sober for 6 years now. So I don’t touch alcohol and none of these are my favourites.” She also revealed that she sometimes drinks non-alcoholic beer.

When a fan asked her if he can date her, Shruti replied a straight No. Also, one of the fans asked whether she will marry him if possible, she laughed it off and said, ‘No, because’ and panned the camera towards her boyfriend, Santanu Hazarika. Her answers are going viral on social media.
