Tamil actress Shruthi Narayanan recently faced a major controversy after an alleged private video went viral online. The video, believed to be a deepfake, falsely depicted the 24-year-old actress known for her role as ‘Rohini’ in the TV series “Siragadikka Aasai.” Following the incident, Shruthi spoke openly on Instagram, emotionally addressing the impact on her and her family. She condemned the spread of such fake content and reminded everyone that sharing deepfake videos is a criminal offense in India.
In her statement, Shruthi urged people to consider the emotional damage such rumors cause. She wrote, “For you, it’s a joke, but for me and my loved ones, it’s very hard. Please stop spreading such videos.”
Recently, Shruthi made her first public appearance since the scandal at the trailer launch of her upcoming film, “Guts.” Dressed in a stylish blue saree and smiling confidently, she won appreciation from fans for her grace and courage. Supportive comments poured in with users praising her strength.
Last week, she also shared a new photoshoot on Instagram, looking stunning in a purple lehenga, but kept comments disabled to avoid negative attention. On International Women’s Day, Shruthi shared an inspiring message celebrating the strength and resilience of women, encouraging everyone to recognize their worth and never settle for less.
