Fans of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in Anand. L. Rai's Zero, have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of his next film.
After Zero turned out to be unsuccessful commercially, SRK had decided to take a break from movies in order to spend quality time with his family. On his 54th birthday, however, the actor reportedly informed that he has been reading scripts for a while now and will make an announcement as soon as he confirms his next. Rumours have been doing the rounds that SRK has heard scripts from Rajkumar Hirani, Aashiq Abu, and also Bigil's director Atlee. However, a recent report from a news agency suggests that SRK had asked Atlee to rewrite the script as he was not thoroughly convinced.
Despite taking a break from films, Shah Rukh Khan has had a busy year, producing Taapsee-Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Badla', Emraan Hashmi's web series 'Bard of Blood' and also doing the voiceover for Mufasa in the Hindi version of Disney's The Lion King.
