The first look poster of Director Selvaraghavan's new film with Santhanam in the lead role has been released and with this it is officially confirmed that the film has been titled as 'Mannavan Vanthanadi' which is the first line of a famous song featuring Sivaji Ganesan and Padmini in the yesteryear devotional flick 'Thiruvarutchelvar'.

The film stars Santhanam and Aaditi Pohankar in lead roles, Yuvan Shankar Raja will be rendering the music score. S.Loganathan of Mayalam super hit 'Ustad Hotel' fame is making his Kollywood debut as the Cinematographer of this film. Prasanna GK is the Editor.

The first schedule of shooting has been completed in Hyderabad. The second schedule will resume in Chennai after the Pongal festival in January 2017. It will go on for 15 days before the team takes off to USA where the film will be shot in locations across New York and Brooklyn in February 2017.Two songs will be shot in the US schedule.

The makers are planning for a Summer 2017 release.
