'Dharmadurai starring Vijay Sethupathi and Tamannah has become one of the super hit Tamil flicks of the year 2016. Now, as expected the film directed by Seenu Ramasamy has become a hot property in remake trade circles.
It has been officially confirmed that 'Dharmadurai' will be remade in Hindi. Telugu and Kannada languages. Producer R.K.Suresh who is on cloud nine after the stupendous success of the film has confirmed that Seenu Ramasamy will be directing the Hindi remake and that will mark his entry into the Bollywood.
Seenu Ramasamy a former associate of veteran Balu Mahendra has directed five films so far 'Koodal Nagar', 'Thenmerku Paruvakatru', 'Neerparavai', 'Idam Porul Yaeval' (delayed) and 'Dharmadurai'. The second in the list had won the National Award for Best Tamil film in 2010.
We wish best of luck for Seenu Ramasamy to stamp his success in Bollywood. We will have to wait to know who will replace the lead actors in remakes.
