Satyadev bags Bollywood superstar’s ambitious movie!

Satyadev Kancharana is going places. At a time when he is busy in Telugu with at least three movies, the ‘Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya’ actor has got a new feather in the cap. He has been enlisted for a seemingly important role in ‘Ram Setu’, the Hindi-language film starring Akshay Kumar in the lead.

It’s learned that the ‘iSmart Shankar’ actor has agreed to play the role because he liked director Abhishek Sharma’s narration. Moreover, ‘Ram Setu’ is one of the most ambitious films in the making. The ‘Laxmii’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor will be seen as an archaeologist in this big-ticket Bollywood outing, which marks the entry of Amazon Prime into film production. 

Satyadev can’t ask for more at a time when he is one of the most sought-after small heroes. ‘Gurthunda Seethakalam’ with Tamannaah Bhatia, a thriller titled ‘Thimmarusu’ and an action film titled ‘Godse’ are in the making and he is the lead man in all the three. ‘Thimmarusu’ is directed by Sharan Koppisetty and stars Priyanka Jawalkar as the heroine. It will most likely be his next theatrical release.
