Ekta Rathod to Make Her Tollywood Debut With Vishwak Sen’s ‘LEGACY’

Bangalore-born actress Ekta Rathod is all set to make her much-awaited entry into Telugu cinema with ‘LEGACY’, the upcoming political action drama starring Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen.

Written and directed by Saikiran Reddy Daida, the film introduces Ekta as the female lead opposite Vishwak Sen. The makers recently unveiled a new poster featuring the lead pair and also announced that ‘LEGACY’ will release worldwide on December 4, 2026.

Ekta Rathod’s Big-Screen Debut

For Ekta, LEGACY marks the beginning of her journey as an actress. Coming from Bangalore with aspirations of making it on the big screen, she has landed a significant role in a film that promises to combine politics, action, emotions and family drama.

Her pairing with Vishwak Sen is already attracting attention following the release of the latest poster. While details about her character are being kept under wraps, Ekta has indicated that the role has considerable depth and importance to the story.

“As a girl from Bangalore who came with nothing but dreams of being on the big screen, to debut with a film like LEGACY feels surreal. When I first heard the story from Saikiran sir, I knew this was not just a launch, it was a responsibility.”

The actress also spoke highly of her experience working alongside Vishwak Sen. According to Ekta, the actor’s energy and passion helped her feel comfortable on her first film set.

“Working opposite Vishwak Sen sir has been an absolute masterclass. He is so passionate, so energetic, and he made me feel so comfortable on my first ever set.”

A Promising Start for the Newcomer

Ekta also expressed her gratitude to director Saikiran Reddy Daida and producers Yeshwanth Daggumati and Kalaahi Media for giving her the opportunity to be part of such a large-scale project.

She described LEGACY as an intense political drama filled with love, power and emotions, while highlighting the depth of her character.

With her debut coming opposite Vishwak Sen in a film featuring an ensemble cast that includes Kay Kay Menon, Rao Ramesh, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Mohan and Raja Ravindra, Ekta Rathod has chosen an interesting project to begin her Telugu film journey.
