‘Madras Madinee’ Evokes Deep Emotions of Fatherhood, Says Kaali Venkat

Actor Kaali Venkat recently shared that the film ‘Madras Madinee’ reminded him of his father when he first heard the story. Directed by Karthikeyan Mani, the movie stars Sathyaraj, Kaali Venkat, Roshini Hari Priyan, Shelly, Vishwa, George Maryan, Archana Chandhoke, Sunil Sugatha, Madhumitha, Shams, Geetha Kailasam, Banupriya and others. The film is produced by Madras Motion Pictures and presented by Dream Warrior Pictures. It is set to be released on June 6.

At the press meet held in Chennai, Kaali Venkat expressed his gratitude toward S.R. Prabhu for trusting the project enough to support it. He thanked veteran actor Sathyaraj for agreeing to be part of the film without hesitation, even though he was approached only towards the end of the production. He also extended thanks to Vadivelu.

Kaali Venkat said that he met the director through Abhishek and was invited to hear the story at his home. The narrative instantly struck a chord with him as it reminded him of his own father. He mentioned that at some point in life, every father feels the emotional distance when their children move away. He added that the audience will experience those emotions while watching the film.
