Actor Sarathkumar's who has been had taken a break from acting since he was busy with politics and the Assembly elections held last year. Now he is back to his primary forte and is currently busy shooting for a handful of films in multiple languages.

One among them and most probably the first to hit the screens will be 'Chennayil Oru Naal 2' the sequel to the 2013 film. While the first part had Sarathkumar in an extended cameo role, the sequel will have the Supreme Star as the main lead.

The film whose story has been inspired by a Rajeshkumar novel is now ready for release.

'Chennayil Oru Naal 2' has been watched by the Censor Board officials and they have given U/A certificate for the film. The film's running time will be just 101 minutes that is an hour and 41 minutes.

The film has been directed by JPR and it is produced by P.K.Ram Mohan of Kalpataru Films banner.
