When the title 'Anni Manchi Sakunamule' was announced by Swapna Cinema, many wondered if the good omen pertains to the lead pair's love story in the film. As it turns out, the 'manchi sakunamulu' pertains to two families populated by naive and endearing individuals.

Starring Rajendra Prasad as a businessman who revers his spiritual adviser, the film has Gauthmi in a homemaker's role. Rao Ramesh, Naresh VK, and others have supporting roles.

The lead pair, played by Santosh Soban and Malvika Nair (whose 'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi' hits the screens on March 17), look like our typical upper-middle-class people.

Director BV Nandini Reddy has collaborated with the makers of 'Yevade Subrahmanyam', 'Mahanati' and 'Sita Ramam'. This is producer Priyanka Dutt's first full-fledged family film in association with Mitra Vinda Movies.

Dawood (screenplay writer), Lakshmi Bhupala (dialogue writer), and Mickey J Meyer (music director) have worked on the movie. Sunny Kurapati is its director of photography. Sowcar Janaki, Vasuki, Vennela Kishore, Ramya Subramanian, Anju Alva Naik, and Ashwin Kumar are part of the cast.

The film hits the screens on May 18.
