Court’s strict orders to ‘Bigg Boss’ Tharshan on Sanam Shetty case

Tharshan a Sri Lankan model gained fame after participating in ‘Bigg Boss 3’ and was one of the favorites to win the title though he came in fifth at the end.  Impressed by him host Kamal Haasan signed a three film deal with him for his banner Raj Kamal Films International.

However Tharshan Thiagarajah got embroiled in controversy after actress Sanam Shetty lodged a police complaint in January this year that he got engaged to her several months back and then refused to marry her.  She produced photographs of the engagement as proof and Tharshan also acknowledged that it was true but he still refused to get married.

Sanam approached the court after no action was taken by the police and the court ordered the Adyar police to take action.  Tharshan applied for anticipatory bail alleging that Sanam has filed a false case and the hearing came up today.

The judge has granted bail on condition that Tharshan appear personally and sign everyday at the Adyar police station for one week and thereafter every Monday.till further orders.

Meanwhile Sanam Shetty is going strong in ‘Bigg Boss 4’ and is entering the fiftieth day this week and is expected to stay till the very end.
