Samantha’s bi-lingual with debutant director announced

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has teamed up with new director Shantaruban Gnanasekharan for a Dream Warrior Pictures movie. The project was announced today. To be made in both Telugu and Tamil, the film is yet to lock a title.

Touted to be a breezy love story, the film is touted to feature the ‘Majili’ actress in an author-backed role. For now, producers SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu have kept the name of the male lead under the wraps.

“Other cast and crew will be revealed soon. The regular shoot of the movie commences soon,” the makers said.

Samantha has also teamed up with Sridevi Movies for another film. To be directed by Hari and Harish, the untitled flick is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. The film will go on the floors sometime in November.

Later this year or in 2022, ‘Shaakuntalam’ will be released. Directed by Gunasekhar, the film has Samantha in the titular role. Its shoot was wrapped up recently.
