Samantha, the leading Indian actress, completed 13 years in the film industry on Sunday. Her cinema career is 13 years old as her debut film celebrated its 13th anniversary yesterday. She forayed into the cine world with the Telugu film 'Ye Maaya Chesaave', the remake of 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya'.

Samantha is currently preparing for her role in 'Citadel', directed by Raj & DK. She celebrated her special day on the sets of the web series. The makers of the show presented her with a flower bouquet. Sam shared a photo of the flowers on her social media and penned a gratitude note for completing 13 years. Her posts are now going viral on the internet.

Samantha's note read, "The older I get… the farther I go… I just feel deeply thankful for all the love and affection… and for each new day and all the good things it brings. So many things that used to affect me… don’t anymore. Just a wave of love and gratitude everyday. Thank you.” She also replied to her fans on Twitter, "I feel all of this love…It is what keeps me going…Now and forever, I am what I am because of you 13 years and we are just getting started."

Meanwhile, it is worth mentioning that Samantha played the female lead opposite her ex-husband and Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya in Ye Maaya Chesaave. He also took to his Instagram stories to share a few posters of the movie. Notably, Sam and Chaitanya met on the film's sets and fell in love later. They got married in 2017 and parted ways in October 2021.
