On the very day she got married to Naga Chaitanya in 2017, Samantha Ruth Prabhu made it a point to change the display names of her social media accounts. On Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, she added the surname Akkineni in keeping with the regular practice.
But, the other day, the superstar actress changed her display name on Twitter and Instagram. She dropped ‘Akkineni’ all of a sudden. The letter ‘S’ is seen now.
Interestingly, the ‘Oh! Baby’ and ‘Majili’ actress has retained the post-marital name on Facebook, where her display name is still ‘Samantha Akkineni’.
It’s not known why the ‘Family Man 2’ actress has changed her display name. Maybe, she did it for stylistic reasons.
On the work front, the ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ actress is currently shooting for ‘Shaakunthalam’. Directed by Gunasekhar, it has Allu Arha as Prince Bharatha. In Tamil, the actress is doing a film with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. The recent Amazon Prime web series, ‘The Family Man 2’, has fetched her critical acclaim.
