Salman Khan has been lodged in the Jodhpur central jail as prisoner number 106 after he was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment in the 20 year old black buck poaching case.  It is said that he spent a sleepless night and looks like he has to atleast spend one more day as the hearing on his bail application that came up today will continue tomorrow (Saturday).

Salman Khan along with cosstars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam was shooting the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in Jodhpur when one night they were accused of killing two rare species black bucks.  The case that continued for 20 years finally came to an end yesterday when the court slapped the verdict on Salman while the other four were allowed to walk free.  It will be known on the 7th April whether bail will be granted to the superstar on whom around 500 Crores is riding on various film projects that he has signed currently.
