Salaar OTT and Satellite Partner Finalised

The highly anticipated pan-Indian film, Salaar, starring Prabhas, has made its worldwide theatrical debut today, garnering immense anticipation and opening to thunderous success. Not only celebrities and critics but also movie lovers are loving Prabhas’ high octane intense action performance, macho looks and stunning mannerisms.  Fans of Prabhas have been celebrating as their star finally made a powerful comeback after the duds like Saaho, Adipurush and Radhe Shyam.

The official details regarding Salaar’s OTT and satellite streaming partners have been unveiled, adding another layer of excitement to the film’s release.Initially in talks with Prime Video for the OTT deal, discussions took a turn, leading to Netflix securing the digital rights for Salaar. This decision marks a strategic move, given Hombale Films’ history of collaborating with Prime Video for previous ventures such as KGF, KGF 2, and Kantara. Despite the early negotiations, the final agreement saw Salaar finding its digital home on Netflix, with streaming set to commence after an eight-week theatrical run.

In addition to the OTT partner revelation, the satellite streaming partner for Salaar has been confirmed as Star Maa, further solidifying the film’s reach across different platforms.Salaar’s storyline, set in an imaginary Khansaar world, revolves around the dynamic relationship between two best friends, Deva and Varadha. When Varadha’s life is threatened, Deva steps in, navigating challenges to fulfill his friend’s desires. Unexpected twists and turns transform the once inseparable friends into formidable foes.

Prabhas takes on the central role in Salaar, supported by a stellar cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur, Salaar marks the first collaboration between director Prashanth Neel and the Pan-Indian star Prabhas. The film, released today in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, promises to captivate audiences with its compelling narrative and stellar performances.
