‘Udanpaal’, the 2022 Tamil comedy film, has won big at the 21st Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF). The CIFF is a film festival organized in Chennai by the Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation (ICAF). This event has been organized every year since 2003 and this is the 21st edition.
The 21st Chennai International Film Festival took place recently. The ceremony began on 14th December and concluded on the 21st at PVR Sathyam Cinemas and Anna Theatre in Chennai. Now, the latest hot news is that the highly acclaimed ‘Udanpaal’ just bagged the Best Film Award at the Chennai International Film Festival 2023.
The Best Feature Film Award was handed over to the movie makers in the presence of the guests Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu and director Mohan Raja at the Chennai International Film Festival 2023. The cast and crew met ace director Vetrimaaran with their award and the picture of the same is going viral on the internet now.
Udanpaal is a hilarious rollercoaster ride of an adventure that captured the audiences’ hearts. This whirlwind of fun and laughter features Linga, Gayathrie and Vivek Prasanna in the lead roles with Charlie, Abarnathi, Dheena and Mayilsamy as supporting characters. The movie was released in Aha Tamil directly on 30 December 2022.
