Salaar child artist Farzana talks about Prabhas’ prediction

Prabhas’ action-packed spectacle, “Salaar,” helmed by the acclaimed director Prashanth Neel, is creating seismic waves at the box office, shattering records along its triumphant journey. The stellar cast, featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and others in pivotal roles, coupled with Shruti Haasan as the leading lady, has contributed to the film’s undeniable success.

A standout performance in the film came from the young talent Syed Farzana, who portrayed the role of Surabhi, a tribal girl, especially leaving an indelible mark in the Kateramma Talli sequence. Farzana’s portrayal captivated audiences, particularly during the intense high-octane action scenes featuring Prabhas.

Despite gaining prior recognition through commercials, notably for IPL and Meelo Evaru Koteswarudu, Farzana’s real-life fair complexion took a backseat as Prashanth Neel skillfully utilized makeup to portray her character in a darker tone. Neel meticulously auditioned several child artists before choosing Farzana for the crucial role.

In a candid revelation, Farzana shared her experience of working with Prabhas, describing him as delightful and animated on set. During the filming of the action sequence, Prabhas foresaw an electrifying response from the audience, predicting whistles and goosebumps in theaters. Encouraging her to deliver a stellar performance, Prabhas motivated Farzana to evoke genuine emotions, prompting her to shed tears naturally. She also acknowledged the unwavering support from director Prashanth Neel, who provided ample encouragement throughout the filming process.

Farzana disclosed that they dedicated a day to rehearse the pivotal scene, underscoring the meticulous preparation behind the captivating on-screen moments. Expressing her anticipation, she eagerly awaits the release of the second part, “Salaar Shouryanga Parvam,” believing it holds the answers to lingering questions left unanswered in the first installment, “Salaar Ceasefire.” As excitement builds among the audience, Farzana’s revelation adds another layer of anticipation for the unfolding saga in the sequel.
