Sai Pallavi’s song excels even Prabhas’ blockbuster

Call it Sai Pallavi’s craze or the sheer magic of the song or both, ‘Vachinde’ from Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Fidaa’ has acquired a special status.  

Its video version has become the fastest song in South India to clock 10 crore views.  It took 198 days for it to reach the record.  

Very few South Indian songs have achieved this status.  Anirudh Ravichander’s ‘Kolaveri Di’ (more than 14 crore views since 2011) and the title track of ‘Baahubali-2’ are two shining examples.  The latter took 288 days for the latter to attain the 100 million figure.
