'Radhe Shyam' is set to hit the screens on March 11. Ahead of its release, UV Creations has released a making video titled 'The Saga Of Radhe Shyam'. The film was shot in Italy, Georgia, and Austria, among others, in real locations in an attempt to capture 1970s Europe. But the pandemic put paid to the efforts in 2020.
"This is when Radhe Shyam brought Europe to India," the making video says, unveiling the expensive sets erected at Ramoji Film City and Annapurna Studios. We see that the shipwreck episode that unfolds in the climax, was created on set. Heavy VFX work went into making the episode. VFX supervisor Kamalkannan was till recently co-ordinating with VFX artists from more than 10 countries.
The making video offers cute glimpses of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde working on most of the scenes. Satyaraj, Riddhi Kumar (who has played an archer), Bhagyashree (who has played a dancer), Jayaram (of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' fame) and others are also seen.
With BGM by Thaman and music by Justin Prabhakaran, 'Radhe Shyam' is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. This is the first time that a production house has invested on a monumental scale to produce an out-and-out love story. If 'Radhe Shyam' becomes a blockbuster, it will surely be redefining the genre for Indian cinema.
