‘Saamanyudu’ Teaser: Common man in vigilatist mode

Vishal is a commoner in his upcoming action-thriller. Titled ‘Saamanyudu’ in Telugu and ‘Veeramae Vaagai Soodum’ in Tamil, its teaser is out. Written and directed by newcomer Thu Pa Saravanan, it will hit the screens on 26 January 2022. Produced by the leading man himself under the banner Vishal Film Factory, the teaser’s mood and premise steal the show.

“Humans are of only two kinds. Common people and the devils who despise power. A commoner will rewrite the fate of devils, one day,” says Vishal. He eventually goes on to convey a key plot point as well: He will give up fighting only if the enemy stops the game.

Kavin Raj’s cinematography and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s score are expected to shore up the stunts. Dimple Hayathi will be romancing the ‘Enemy’ actor.

Also featuring Yogi Babu, Malayalam actor Baburaj, Raveena Ravi, and Akilan S Pushparaj, the film is currently in the making.
