On Tuesday, which was the litmus test day for it, 'Saaho' had a bloodbath at the box-office. Along with the BSE sensex, Prabhas' film too nosedived everywhere.

The multi-billion actioner is a flop in the Telugu States, more in Andhra Pradesh than in Telangana. On the back of BO rampage in Hyderabad till Monday, the film collected Rs 24.50 Cr (share) in five days. Its collections plummetted in Andhra and Ceeded on Tuesday, ending all hopes of it becoming a decent performer.

In the US, too, 'Saaho' is unarguably a dud. This bodes ill for 'Sye Raa' as well, for one big bad performer can have a spillover effect on other big films. (The Gulf collections alone are good news).

As is known, the Tamil and Malayalam versions have been stunning flops.

By joining the Rs 100 Cr (nett) club in Hindi, 'Saaho' has covered itself in some glory. However, Tuesday's Rs 7 Cr is not enough. 'Mission Mangal' last month did better despite 'Batla House' on its first litmus test day.
