‘Saaho’: Nizam nosedives, horrible in RTC X Roads

After seeing a huge drop in collections on Tuesday, ‘Saaho’ nosedived further on Wednesday in the Telugu States.  From Nizam to the Godavari segments to Ceeded, the Prabhas-Sujeeth film is biting the dust day after day. 

In Nizam, the total share on Day 6 was just about Rs 80 lakhs.  This is as ridiculously low as it can get for the much-touted movie.  

The bellwether RTC X Roads theatres (in Hyderabad) posted enormously low gross figures.  The Day 6 gross of the film stood at a pathetic Rs 2.87 lakh, which is lower than the recent iSmart Shankar’s Rs 3 lakh.  For perspective, ‘Rangasthalam’ made Rs 8.35 lakh last year, ‘Maharshi’ made Rs 5.49 lakh this year.  ‘Aravindha Sametha’ mopped up Rs 3.75 lakh, which is more than the figure of ‘Saaho’.

All in all, ‘Saaho’ is well on its way to becoming a disaster in the Telugu States.
