SPB regains consciousness giving hope to millions of fans

Legendary singer S.P. Balasubrahmaniam got admitted to the MGM hospital in Choolaimedu Chennai on August 5th and at that time he assured through a video that his Covid 19 symptoms were mild.  On the 14th however, there was a sudden deterioration of the health of the 74-year-old and he was shifted to the ICU and put on life support.

Scores of celebrities and fans have ever since been praying for the speedy recovery of SPB and today there is some good news from the hospital sources.  It is said that SPB has regained consciousness which is a good sign but he is still on a ventilator as the coronavirus has severely afflicted his lungs.

“The team of doctors are continuing to monitor the progress of SPB and hopefully the coming days will bring in more good news on his health.
