Vijay Antony reacts to ‘Pichaikkaran 2’ connection with Rs. 2000 ban by central govt

Leading actor Vijay Antony’s directoral debut movie ‘Pichaikaran 2’ released recently has been well received by fans in both Tamil and Telugu states.  Though the film is a fantasy thriller dealing with brain transplant it speaks about eradicating poverty completely and create a world with no one going hungry or homeless. 

Vijay Antony after watching ‘Pichaikkaran 2’ with fans at a Chennai theater later on spoke to the media.  Press persons asked him about a strange coincidence regarding the demonetization brought by the Modi government in 2016 at exactly the time of ‘Pichaikkaran’ release.  The public went through a lot of trouble and lives were lost when waiting in the long quees to change the invalid rupees five hundred and rupees thousand notes.

Similarlly exactly a day after the release of ‘Pichaikkaran 2’ the same central government has banned the rupees two thousand rupees notes giving time till September to change them to other denominations.

Vijay Antony stated that in his ‘Pichaikkaran’ he spoke that money sharks will easily hoard their currencies in high denominations and thats how the government banned the five hundred and one thousand rupees notes and let the rupees two thosuand notes in circulation.  According to him it was the plan of the government to release two thousand notes and now due to the ban those who hold huge amounts of black money have to come out and will be caught.  He assured that the common people will not be affected by this move and only black marketeers and black money holders will be in trouble.

‘Pichaikkaran 2’ has Kavya Thapar as the leading lady while Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi, Y.GEE Mahendran, Dev Gill, Kitty and John Vijay costar.  Vijay Antony has scored the music, produced and edited the film apart from playing the dual lead roles.

The government immediately issued 500 rupee and 1000 rupee notes. declared invalid. But they released 2000 rupees note. I was upset then.

But it seems that they released this 2000 rupees note only after making a plan. If 2000 rupee note is issued, many people will buy it and hoard it, he has announced that he will take back the 2000 rupee note after planning to catch all those hoarders.
