Breaking! Vijay’s ‘Thalapathy 68’ officially announced with super exciting details

We broke the news first to you ahead of all medias that Venkat Prabhu will be directing Vijay’s next film ‘Thalapathy 68’ with AGS Productions bankrolling and Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music.  The production house has now officially confirmed the same with an interesting video that has gone viral instantly.

The ‘Thalapathy 68’ announcement video is themed like a crossword puzzle with a pen circling the names of AGS, Venkat Prabhu, Yuvan Shankar Raja and finally Thalapathy Vijay.  Archana Kalpathi wrote on Twitter “It is our honor and privilege to collaborate once again with our #Thalapathy Vijay Sir for our 25th Film ‘Thalapathy68’/’Ags25’ will be directed by the brilliant Venkat Prabhu and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Need all your love and support. This movie is going to be super special”.

Fans are especially delighted by the announcement of Vijay and Yuvan reuniting after almost two decades.  The confirmation about him has served as a proper reply to few sections of the media that reported that he is not a part of this project.

Vijay is currently shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s mega budget gangster thriller ‘Leo’ that has music by Anirudh and costars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand and Kathir among others.  The filming is expected to wrap by June end which means ‘Thalapathy 68’ could go on floors in the first week of August.  Stay tuned for all the hot updtes on this super exciting project.
