Estimates are being made about how much 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' might amass on the first day of its release. On March 25, the film will be released in thousands of screens all over the world, with a lion's share of them being in India. The Telugu and Hindi versions are up for a gigantic release.
As per some estimates, the Rajamouli directorial is going to gross something like Rs 230-250 Cr on Day 1 in all languages. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will contribute nearly 40% of the figure. The Hindi version, going by the current trends, might collect a nett figure of Rs 20 Cr. The Jr NTR-Ram Charan movie, on the back of a mammoth overseas release, might earn another Rs 60 Cr or thereabouts in foreign markets (including from premiers). The rest of the amount will come from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.
In the US, the pre-sales premier figures alone stand at USD 2.5 million.
What after Day 1? Will 'RRR' stay the course or fizzle out? The potential is unlimited. The film's greatest potential, to be sure, lies in the Hindi segment. If the 'word of mouth' is positive, there will be no stopping 'RRR', especially with 'The Kashmir Files' showing signs of slowing down.
