S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ postponed – New release date officially announced

S.S. Rajamouli put South Indian cinema on the world map with his pathbreaking period fantasy epics ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Baahubali 2’.  He is now shooting another multilingual multistarrer magnum opus ‘RRR’ starring Junior NTR and Ram Charan Teja as the lead heroes.  The new release date for the film has been officially announced as January 8th 2021.

‘RRR’ was planned to release in this year itself but had to be postponed by a year and the team has explained “Your love and support have made all our hard work and hectic schedules worthwhile! We are working round the clock to give you a cinematic experience like never before. And with a huge worldwide release planned, we have had to postpone the date of release.  We understand this is a disappointment, but there’s going to be a lot to look forward to because this only gives us more time to bring the best to you.”

‘RRR’ produced by DVV Danayya has Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris as the leading ladies while Ajay Devgan, Samuthirakani, Rahul Ramakrishna, Allison Doody and Ray Stevenson.  M.M. Keeravani is scoring the music, K.K. Senthilkumar is handling the camera and A. Sreekhar Prasad the editing.  Said to be made at the huge budget of 450 Crores the mega flick will release in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.
