RJ Balaji’s third film Veetla Visheshanga, an official remake of Bollywood Blockbuster ‘Badhaai Ho’ is all set to hit the big screens in June. Balaji took too his Twitter and shared a colorful poster from the film and announced the release date.
The poster had Urvashi sitting with a garland in her neck while her family members posed along with her for a happy family photo. Interestingly, Balaji has written the script and has also co-directed the film with NJ Saravanan, who was also part of his previous film ‘Mookuthi Amman’. The shooting of the film happened in and around the locations of Coimbatore, and the film was completed at a single stretch.
Veetla Visheshanga is an official remake of Badhai Do starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Neena Gupta with Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, Shardul Rana, and Sanya Malhotra. RJ Balaji is playing Ayushmann Khurrana’s role in this film’. The film tells the story of a middle-aged couple who get pregnant, much to the disappointment of their sons.
Boney Kapoor, who produced Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai is funding the remake along with Zee Studios and Romeo Pictures. The film has Aparna Balamurali playing Balaji’s pair with Sathyaraj and Oorvashi will be playing his parents in the film. Veetla Visheshanga will release on July 17 in theaters.
