Boxer turned actress Ritika Singh made waves with her film debut Irudhi Suttru directed by Sudha Kongara which had her paired with Madhavan, and she played a boxer in the movie, replicating her real life profession and passion.
After few more films like Guru, Shivalinga and after winning National award and a Filmfare, the actress is now a part of a message oriented movie named #MeToo. The movie revolves around a college student who is a victim of sexual abuse, and highlights the mentality of sexual predators.
Reportedly, the movie directed by US based Harsh Wardhan was completed 7 months ago and the CBFC had rejected the movie objecting several dialogues, and then they had reached the Chennai revising committee which objected the title Me Too itself.
