Ram Pothineni's 'RED', the Telugu remake of the Tamil-language thriller 'Thadam', has locked a new release date. It will hit the screens for Sankranthi 2021.
Making the announcement on Sunday, the actor wrote, "This Sankranthi is going to be super special! Excited to celebrate Sankranthi with you all after ages. 'Devdas', 'Maska' and now RED'. See you all on the BIG SCREEN!"
The 'iSmart Shankar' actor has got a dual role in the film. His ‘Nenu Sailaja’ and ‘Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi’ director Kishore Tirumala is the director. Nivetha Pethuraj is a cop, Malavika Sharma has a romantic role in this festival-time release. If Nasser is a judge and Sampath Raj is a cop, Sathya and Posani Krishna Murali seem to have light roles.
Music is by Mani Sharma. Cinematography is by Sameer Reddy.
