Bollywood heroines stepping into Telugu cinema has been a long-standing tradition, and now another fresh talent is set to follow the path. Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadhani, who has already started creating a buzz in Hindi films, is in talks to make her Tollywood debut with a prestigious upcoming project.
The film marks the debut of Jaya Krishna, son of late actor-producer Ramesh Babu and nephew of Superstar Mahesh Babu. Director Ajay Bhupathi, known for films like RX 100 and Mangalavaaram, has been confirmed to helm this launch vehicle. The project was officially launched recently, and discussions are ongoing for Rasha to play the female lead.
Interestingly, Rasha’s name was earlier linked to Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, further fueling interest around her Tollywood entry. At just 20, she already has a growing fan base with appearances in Hindi projects like Azaad, Simbaa and Hum Sab Taiyar Hai.
If finalized, her pairing with Jaya Krishna is expected to add freshness to the project and widen its appeal. The regular shoot is scheduled to commence on October 15, with an official announcement expected soon.
