Mysaa, touted by its makers as India’s first female-led pan-India action film, features Rashmika Mandanna in her boldest and most commanding role to date. The team has now wrapped one of the film’s most ambitious action sequences an underwater fight sequence led by Rashmika, which the makers describe as India’s first of its kind for a female protagonist.

One of the most anticipated films of 2026, Mysaa promises to present Rashmika in a never-seen-before avatar unlike anything she has portrayed in her career. Her intense transformation and the film’s unique concept have already generated tremendous buzz, making every update from the project a major talking point among movie lovers.

According to the makers, Rashmika performed the underwater action sequence entirely on her own without the help of an action double. She reportedly spent nearly 20 hours underwater over two days to complete the physically demanding sequence. Her dedication, resilience, and commitment impressed the entire crew. The underwater technical team and the film’s director of photography (DOP) reportedly praised her performance, stating that they had never witnessed anything like it in Indian cinema. The sequence is being touted as one of the most ambitious action set pieces ever attempted and is expected to be one of the film’s biggest highlights.

Rashmika also shared the achievement on her social media, expressing her excitement about taking on the challenging sequence. She wrote:

“I know I’ve been MIA but this is what we’ve been doing..😄

This is by far the most challenging thing I’ve ever had to do in life! 😄😄

We are crazy for this but that’s what’s gotten me so so excited! 💪🔥🔥

Let’s goooo! MYSAA
