Rashmika Mandanna, currently basking in the success of her latest Telugu film The Girlfriend directed by Rahul Ravindran, has revealed her keen interest in acting in Korean films.
In a recent interview, the actress shared that she developed a habit of watching Korean web series during the pandemic. “Each Korean series usually has 16 episodes — about 16 hours in total — and that made me deeply interested in them,” she said.
Rashmika added, “It would be exciting to act in a Korean film, but the role offered should align with my preferences. As you know, I’ve always been very selective about the roles I take up.”
Meanwhile, her recent Hindi film Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has also received positive responses. Rashmika is next set to appear in upcoming projects like Cocktail 2 and Misa.
Fans believe that her growing interest in international cinema could further expand her multilingual career and global appeal.
