Tamil actor Arulnithi, known for his off-beat choices, has announced his next project titled ‘My Dear Sister’, co-starring Mamta Mohandas and Meenakshi Govindarajan. The film, directed by Prabhu Jeyaraj of ‘Ennanga Sir Unga Sattam’ fame and produced by Fashion Studios with cinematography by the veteran Vetrivel, is now in its post-production stage and has released an intriguing title promo.
Set against a backdrop of sibling rivalry and familial bonds in Tirunelveli, the film explores the dynamic between an ego-driven younger brother (Arulnithi) and his feminist elder sister (Mamta). According to Mamta, she hasn’t played a role like this before—she takes on a truck-driving character to support herself, while her brother picks fights and they clash until a turning point forces them to confront their relationship.
The newly-released promo teasing their constant bickering—“one moment they’re hugging, the next moment they’re at each other’s throats”—has already sparked curiosity.Audiences are now looking forward to how this unconventional take on sibling relationships unfolds on screen.
