In a bid to celebrate achievements of women players and further inspire Gen Next in the sports arena, Star Sports 1 Telugu channel has come up with an interesting show ‘Girl Power-Sarileru Manakevvaru’ (No match for us).

Rashmi Gautam who has been ruling the roost on small screen in Telugu will apparently host the show. In fact, the glam diva has already shot for the maiden episode for Indian women’s cricket team Captain Mithali Raj. And this show will be aired on Sunday at 10.00 am.

The Guntur Talkies actress was equally kicked when the opportunity came her way.

“I am excited at the opportunity. Basically, I will be interviewing women from various sports fraternities via video calls (since travelling is not advisable due to covid-19). Although I don’t belong to the sports field what I wanted to bring forward are the common issues that women generally go through in any walk of life,” shares Rashmi, adding, “The candid answers from these women achievers will further help inspire commoners who don’t have a platform to showcase their talent.”
