Rangaraj Pandey who served as the Editor in Chief of Thanthi TV has quit with effect from Monday. In an emotional video that he has released the senior journalist who started his career with Dinamalar and then later shifted to Thanthi TV has stated that after twenty two years he is taking a break to spend some time with his family.
Rangaraj Pandey created a brand name for himself as well as Thanthi TV with the two popular programs Ayudha Ezhuthu and Kelvikenna Badhil becoming hugely popular. The Srivilliputhur born Pandey is of North Indian origin but his impeccable Tamil has won him innumerable fans who he said he will never lose at any stage.
Rumours are floating around that Pandey would be joining Superstar Rajinikanth's Rajini Makkal Mandram and even the BJP but he has dismissed them as rumors stating that he is a journalist first and foremost and will continue to be one.
