'Rana Naidu' is all set to stream on Netflix from March 10. Its trailer was released a while ago. Starring Venkatesh and Rana Daggubatti as an estranged father-son duo, its trailer is a smash hit.

Touted to be an action-packed spectacle, the series is a faithful adaptation of the popular American series 'Ray Donovan'.

Creator and one of the directors, Karan Anshuman, has cast the 'Virata Parvam' actor as the Numero Uno celebrity fixer who has a hand in the till of every single Bollywood scandal. On the other hand, the 'F3' actor plays a fiercely furious and cuss word-prone character. Touted to be edgy, layered and uncompromising, the show has got a tense story-telling structure.

"As Rana continues to sort the dirty work for the city's top power players, will his own father prove to be his biggest roadblock challenging their unpleasant relationship?" the makers asked, teasing about the story.

For the 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' actor, this is his first collaboration with Netflix and Venkatesh. “Playing the role of Rana Naidu was exceptionally challenging. He is a complex character with a deep emotional connection to his family," he added.

Venkatesh's name in the Original is Naga Naidu. Calling it a new experience, he added that the series has been a refreshing change. His character is not only dramatic and charismatic but is also multi-dimensional.

The high-stakes action features outstanding performances, the makers said. Netflix is counting on both "thrilling plot twists" and the "incredible performances" on display.

Also starring Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Gaurav Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rajesh Jais, this one will stream in not just in Telugu but also in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.

Producers Sunder Aaron and Locomotive Global have ensured grittiness.
