‘RRR’ has catapulted Ram Charan to international acclaim without a shred of doubt. He has been making appearances on shows in the US these days. Ahead of Sunday’s Oscar event, the Mega Power Star has been interviewed by Deadline.
Speaking to the media house, the ‘Rangasthalam’ sensation touched upon getting to meet Hollywood executives during his US stint. He suggested that he is encouraged by conversations he has been having with them.
What is more, the pan-India action star feels “like the possibility of an Indian-Hollywood project is not such a far-fetched idea anymore.”
This is really a big observation that Charan has made. An Indian-Hollywood project was an unlikely prospect just a year ago. With ‘RRR’ acquiring global prominence after its OTT release, with ‘Naatu Naatu’ receiving Golden Globe and an Oscar nom, a crossover project now looks very much possible.
In the interview, Charan also said that it has been “such a heartfelt journey that’s been really quite alarming and satisfying (for him) as an actor.”
