Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt special song for Rajamouli’s RRR

Director SS Rajamouli is gearing up to shoot a romantic song on actors Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt for RRR (Roudram Ranam Rudhiram). The said song will be shot in a specially erected set at a private studio in Hyderabad from March 12 onwards. Alia Bhatt, who plays Sita in RRR, will join the sets along with Ram Charan in this schedule. With this, a major portion of the period action drama would be wrapped up and the remaining part would be completed in 50 days thus marking the end of the production.

Inspired by The Motorcycle Diaries, RRR depicts a fictional story set in the 1920s. While Ram Charan plays the younger version of Alluri Sitarama Raju, Jr NTR essays Komaram Bheem’s character. Both the characters are signified by the elements, fire and water. Recently, Hollywood action choreographer Nick Powell has been roped in to oversee the last leg of the climax, which is being shot in a specially erected set at Gachibowli.

A couple of days ago, two leaked stills of Ram Charan and NTR have found their way to social media leaving fans wanting for more. Mounted on a mammoth Rs 350 crore budget, RRR also features Ajay Devgn in a prominent role with Samuthirakani essaying the role of Charan’s babai. Also starring Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody, RRR is being shot in Telugu and will also be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and other foreign languages. The film is slated for release on October 13 2021.
