Superstar Rajinikanth had announced a year ago that he’s all set to enter politics and since then the actor had been actively involving in social welfare activities with his Rajni Makkal mandram organisation. Now, with the lok sabha elections nearing, the actor has revealed his political plans.
Rajinikanth’s latest press release states that he will not be contesting lok sabha elections and his target is the state assembly elections. He added that he is not going to support or campaign for any political party in this election, and insisted not to make use of his name of his fans association names or flag anywhere in political campaigns.
Besides, the press release also referred to water crisis as the major problem of Tamilnadu, and Rajnikanth had requested his fans to analyse and identify which party can form a strong government at the centre and implement plans to resolve water problems and vote for them in the upcoming Lok sabha elections.
