Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ Powerhouse Song Takes the Internet by Storm

Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film ‘Coolie’ is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic spectacles of 2025. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film continues the celebrated Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) and is produced by the prestigious Sun Pictures banner.

Adding to the film’s massive appeal, King Nagarjuna, fresh off his blockbuster success with Kubera, plays a powerful role, while Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will also be seen in a significant character, making this a truly pan-Indian ensemble.

The film’s first-look posters, teasers, and songs have already created a wave of excitement among fans. Tracks like ‘Chikitu’ and ‘Monica’ have become chartbusters, raising expectations for the movie’s soundtrack.

Now, the makers have dropped yet another banger — the ‘Powerhouse’ song. Composed by rockstar Anirudh Ravichander, this power-packed track perfectly matches Rajinikanth’s iconic screen presence. Lyrics by Rambabu Gosala resonate with Rajini’s larger-than-life persona, while Arivu and chorus vocals add an electrifying touch. Rajinikanth’s energy in the song has taken his on-screen charisma to the next level, and the track is already going viral across social media.

On the distribution front, Asian Multiplexes Pvt. Ltd., headed by D. Suresh Babu, Dil Raju, Sunil Narang, and Bharat Narang, has acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of Coolie for a record price. The film will be released grandly in Telugu states through Asian Suresh Entertainment.

Coolie also features an impressive supporting cast, including Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, and Mahendran in pivotal roles.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran, the film boasts a top-notch technical team, with Anirudh handling music, Girish Gangadharan on cinematography, and Philomin Raj managing the editing.
