Indian cinema’s legendary actors Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu were recently spotted together at the Hyderabad airport, sharing a friendly moment as they made their way through the premises. The actors, known for their charismatic presence and warm personalities, were seen engaged in a casual conversation, showcasing their strong bond.
Donning their signature stylish looks, the actors exuded an aura of cool confidence as they navigated the airport. They were later seen leaving the premises in their respective cars.
Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu have always shared a close relationship, often referred to as a brotherly bond. This camaraderie was evident during the filming of “Annaatthe” in Hyderabad, where Rajinikanth spent almost two days at Mohan Babu’s residence.
Their on-screen collaboration in the 1995 film “Pedarayudu,” a Telugu remake of “Nattamai,” further strengthened their connection. The film, directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty, featured Mohan Babu in a dual role and also starred Raja Ravindra, Bhanupriya, Soundarya, Subhashri, Anandaraj, and many more. “Pedarayudu” holds a special place in cinematic history as it is Rajinikanth’s last proper Telugu film to date.
Mohan Babu is currently gearing up for his next film, “Kannappa,” a mythological fantasy film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. He will be playing a key role in the film, which stars his son, Vishnu Manchu, and revolves around the legend of Kannappa, a devotee of Lord Shiva. The film boasts a stellar supporting cast, including R Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, and cameo appearances by Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal.
Rajinikanth is currently focusing on his upcoming projects. He has recently wrapped up shooting for “Vettaiyan,” directed by TJ Gnanavel, which features Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. The film is set to feature Rajinikanth as a retired police officer unraveling a mystery.
The superstar is expected to complete his dubbing work for “Vettaiyan” soon and will then begin shooting for “Coolie,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The chance encounter of these legendary actors at the Hyderabad airport highlights their enduring camaraderie and reinforces their lasting impact on Indian cinema.
