After the initial shock of Sundar C stepping down as director, reliable sources now confirm that National Award-winning filmmaker Ramkumar Balakrishnan (of Parking fame) has taken the helm. The official announcement, along with the complete cast and crew reveal, is expected on December 12, 2025. Sai Pallavi has reportedly been locked as the female lead opposite Rajinikanth for the first time, and the film is eyeing a grand Pongal 2027 release.
