Superstar Mahesh Babu and visionary filmmaker SS Rajamouli are joining forces for a globe-trotting action-adventure, which officially began filming in January this year. Major sequences have already been shot on specially constructed sets in Hyderabad, Odisha, and other locations. However, production has now hit a temporary pause.
The next schedule, planned in the national parks of Kenya, has been postponed due to the prevailing political unrest in the country. The team is exploring alternate international locations, with Tanzania emerging as a strong contender depending on how the situation unfolds.
Script Revisions and Crew Changes
According to exclusive information from TeluguCinema.com, Rajamouli is using this break effectively to fine-tune the script and make key changes to the technical crew. Several high-voltage action blocks, a song, and crucial talkie portions featuring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran have already been filmed.
The upcoming schedule will focus on intense emotional segments and high-stakes adventure sequences, prompting Rajamouli to revise a major section of the screenplay. Reports suggest that acclaimed filmmaker Deva Katta has been brought in to polish the dialogues for these new portions.
Mythology Meets Global Adventure
Interestingly, the film’s second half will explore a mythological-spiritual layer, which is also being reworked to enhance its depth and global appeal. With Rajamouli’s proven knack for blending cultural roots with international storytelling, this rewrite is expected to add a fresh dimension to the film.
