Rajamouli, Mega hero give a pat on Bollywood star’s back

SS Rajamouli and Ram Charan have promoted the teaser for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, the Hindi-language underworld political drama starring Alia Bhatt in the titular character. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, its teaser has impressed the ‘Baahubali’ maker big-time. He and Mega Power Star made it a point on Wednesday to appreciate Alia, who is playing Sita in their magnum opus, ‘Roudram Ranam Rudhiram’. 

Rajamouli said that Gangubai is as fierce as fierce can get. “Alia Bhatt’s avatar as. Gangubai Kathiawadi is very impressive.. Looking forward to see Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnificent work on the screen (sic),” the star filmmaker further wrote. 

On his part, Ram Charan wrote, “Superb Teaser Sanjay Sir! Great screen presence, Alia. Looking forward to the film.”

Tollywoodians mostly don’t promote Hindi films. But since Alia is doing ‘RRR’, it seems they received a special request from the actress. 

The Bollywood film will hit the screens on July 30. It will clash with ‘Radhe Shyam’.
