Calling Prime Minister Modi the “prime time minister,” Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday attacked the PM for continuing to shoot a film even after 3 hours of the news of Pulwama’s terror attack came in.
With the hashtag ‘Photo Shoot Sarkar,’ the Congress leader tweeted, “Even three hours after receiving the news of 40 soldiers being killed in Pulwama, ‘Prime Time Minister’ kept shooting for a film. There was a sea of grief in the hearts of Indians and homes of the soldiers, and he was smiling in his photo shoot at a lake.” BJP’s spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi responded to the criticism with a tweet that read, “When Pulwama happened PM was shooting for discovery channel is the new propaganda. Do the likes of Rahul Gandhi & his cronies have any idea whether PM was monitoring minute by minute developments and would have done conferences with relevant people.”
Rahul Gandhi made reference to local media reports to condemn the Prime Minister, who reportedly shot a documentary at the Corbett National Park on February 14, and continued to film even after being informed of the terror attack at 3.10 pm, and wrapping the shoot only at 6.40 pm.
