Recently, Rahman was interviewed by a popular leading daily where he said that he never said no to a good movie, but there is a gang spreading rumours about him. The music maestro spoke about why there have been fewer collaborations with Bollywood as compared to the film industry down south.

Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur shared a clip of the article on his twitter profile and wrote, “You know what your problem is @arrahman ? You went and got #Oscars . An Oscar is the kiss of death in Bollywood. It proves you have more talent than Bollywood can handle ..” (sic)

These kind of kindest words from Shekhar were unexpected from audiences and netiznes, especially for Rahman. To this, the composer replied, “Lost Money comes back, fame comes back, but the wasted prime time of our lives will never come back. Peace! Lets move on. We have greater things to do.” (sic)
