The fourth installment of the Muni horror franchise of director/actor Raghava Lawrence, Kanchana 3/ Muni 4 has wrapped filming before few months, and now the movie, which was earlier announced to release on April 18, has locked a new release date.
Following the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates, with TN polling scheduled on April 18, the team has now locked April 19 as the release date for Kanchana 3. The movie produced by Sun Pictures is touted to be on the lines of the first three films, that were a heady mix of horror as well as comedy.
Kanchana 3 yet again will have Raghava Lawrence playing the lead role, and will have three heroines – Vedhika, who’s returning to the Muni series after the first part Muni (2007), Oviya who was recently seen in 90 ML, and debutant Nikki Tamboli, who’s playing the lead role in Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu Telugu remake.
